This section of the website covers grandparents Joseph and Alice Bissell and their ancestors.
Because there is a lot of information, I have split this into separate pages based on the family lines of their parents (see diagram above).
This follows the paternal line of Grandad Joseph. The Bissells originally came from London before moving to Yorkshire.
This follows the paternal line of Grandma Alice. The Dacres mainly came from Yorkshire.
This follows the maternal line of Grandad Joseph. The Whitesides originally came from Lancashire before moving to Yorkshire.
This follows the maternal line of Grandma Alice. The Moorbys mainly came from Yorkshire with a side branch the Swainsons coming from Cumbria.
